Annabel & David

The best day all around for these absolute amazing humans and their crew! Dave & Annabel spent some time to decompress and watch the sun set over the hunter landscape and even absolutely rocked some night portraits. In their words “We cannot put into words how much you exceeded our expectations. The whole experience from the pre wedding organisation right through to our wedding day and receiving our wedding gallery has been wonderful. It’s like watching a rom-com and something we will cherish forever”

How did you find the wedding planning process?

The lead up to our wedding was surprisingly relaxed. Having my PA sister being my maid of honour certainly helped a lot! Pinterest was definitely my go to and David helped a small amount!

What were some of your favourite wedding details and why you chose them?

I had a paw print pendant on my bouquet which belonged to my almost 20 year old cat that we had to say goodbye too earlier in the year. It was always planned that he would be at our wedding and I thought this was the perfect way to honour that.

David's cufflinks had engravings of our finger prints on them and the boys wore socks with photos of our 3 cats on them. We thought these small things would make our day more uniquely us!

What were your thoughts when you watched your wedding film for the first time?

We absolutely love our wedding film. We couldn't believe how happy we were after watching it for the first time. Tim captured so many raw and candid moments (both emotional and fun) and combined them in such a unique way that captured our day and personalities so well. Each time we watch it (which is a lot) it is like reliving the best day of our lives. As many of our friends have said - it was like watching a trailer for a rom com! And it is something we will absolutely treasure forever.

Let’s chat about your vendors, how did they all do?

All our vendors exceeded our expectations and worked so well together. They really made our day perfect.

Our celebrant (Becky Married Me) made our ceremony very personal and unique and it was the perfect combination of light hearted and fun but also full of love.

The best photographer/videographer duo. Matt and Tim were so easy going and fun. They brought a great vibe and hyped us up. They had us all laughing so nothing felt posed. They also managed to blend in and capture some really beautiful moments that we will cherish forever.

Our venue (Bimbadgen Palmers Lane) - All the staff at Bimbadgen were so helpful and accommodating. They made sure everything ran smoothly (even with a last minute change of reception plans due to the weather).

Love glows did an amazing job with the fairy lights and signs for the reception. They accommodated the last minute change to an indoor reception and we could not have been happier.

Our band (The White Tree) created such a great atmosphere for the reception which had everyone up dancing.

What would you say to couples who are on the fence about booking a videographer for their wedding?

If you can splurge on one thing book a videographer! Initially it was not planned for us to have one but I cannot imagine not having our beautiful video to look back on.

The day goes by so quickly and there were moments captured in our video that we did not remember. We absolutely love that we will now have these memories forever.

Words of wisdom for future couples looking to create an epic wedding/elopement experience?

Enjoy every moment (even the unplanned ones)!
